Is it possible to take a abs sensor off the left front hub without damaging it ?!?
And how to place it on the new hub ?!?
I must swap my left front axle but the replacement axle has no sensor although it is an abs axle.
thanks

Yes you can take them out.
first disconnect the whole thing.
then drop itin a bucket of coca cola or WD40.
it will take out the rust
then take out the skrew that is holding it in place.
then gently try to take the sensor in a set of pliers and by rotating movement. not to much pressure.
it will comeout it you take some time

Fronts come out well, rears don't.
I got both fronts out of my 92, by spraying a bit of wd 40....removing the bolt then gently(!!) prizing the metal base of the sensor with a pinch bar in a rocking motion, levering against the cliper bracket.
The rears are much harder, i got one out but it may be too baddly damaged to work.
