EBC Standard replacement pads

Hello!!!

Today I got a quote for a set of pads for the 480 made by EBC,famous for their "Green Stuff" and "Red Stuff" pads/discs....

I thought I'd post this in case any of you were looking for a marked improvement in stopping ability.I know one club member has fitted these standard replacement ones,known as "Black Stuff" (

!),and said that they were noticeably better than Volvo Textar ones.

Anyway the guy I dealt with was Simon Warner at Graham Goode Racing.Email simon@grahamgoode.com

The prices he quoted me were Â£30.86 for the ATE system for the not so early 480s.If yours is an earlier 480 you may have a Girling system fitted,pads for this set-up are a much more wallet-friendly Â£18.61.Rears are Â£14.68.

Part Nos are DP 838 for Girling
DP 989 for ATE
DP 447-2 for the rears,either system.

well worth the money imho, I have ebc kevlar (so it says on box) anyways there fooking great! I also have brembo front discs as you know.

Just wanted to add that 2nite I fitted my front EBC Black Stuff Kevlar Pads.

I've been running the rears for a month.

With the fronts too its miles better than Volvo Textar.Noticeable straight away in stopping power.

Anyway P/No.s DP989 for ATE Front Vented Calipers.DP447/2 for ATE or Girling/Lucas rears.

Wont be fitting std ones again!

I went to EBC Direct as I wanted to order online.They were about Â£10 more.

I expect this suggestion will appeal to you,given that you're a Scotsman! Muahahahahaaaaaa!
