Hi all

got out at half 6 this morning and heated the beast up but when i went to move off o found the handbrake was frozen on:(

well tried anyway to shift it (tried alllsorts)well it didnt shift so i drove off anyway (or tried anyway)didnt get much more than 3rd but that was trying very hard.

got up the road(slowly)and picked up a mate and saw the discs glowing and producing a stench.

fiddled with the handbrake lever some more and it came free?

could i have caused any problems or damage to the rear wheels etc(discs caliper etc etc?????????

it all seem well again bar the odd drift of brake stink which is lingering about.

cheers all

I reckon your pads will be the worse for wear. You should be able to see if there's any damage to the discs. How long were you driving with the handbrake on?
