ABS lights on for 30 seconds, missing ABS relais

When I start my car there are always the various controll lights, but after all lights gone out there is always the ABS and the Brake warning light that remain on for about 30 seconds.
I've been driving on slipery roads and found out that the ABS is working properly.
The strange thing is that the two ABS pumprelais under the hood are not
in place.

I am wondering why the ABS is working, while the relais are not there and there are always these warninglights. By the way, it's the old version of ABS, so without the EPS function.
