Can we use DOT 5 Brake fluid???

Post by catgroom » Sat Apr 16, 2005 10:50 pm

Hi!

I seem to remember reading that DOT 5 destroys the seals in the master cylinders on our particular cars........

Im hoping to be told Im wrong so I can replace my fluid with this stuff.Im just happier that DOT 5 doesnt absorb any moisture so have more real fluid in my lines........

Cheers! :hopping:

Love it when people are afraid of technological advances.

Dot 5.1 is safe as houses, but if you prefer vhs to a dvd in technological terms then so be it :?
