Hmmm noticed over the last couple of days a slight clunk from the front brakes upon application. Seem to work fine though. Only seems to happen sometimes.
I'm gonna inspect them this weekend but does anyone have any ideas?

Cheers

Is the locating screw in the disc-hub there?

Nothing in particular, but check the caliper mounting brakets. They could be loose, or the caliper could be worn and allowing the brake pads to move slightly.

Also if the wheel bolts are not done up tight, then it is possible for them to move slightly. Hopefully it's not that though!

Yeah, you wouldn't want to snap the hub nut / end of driveshaft off

Something must be loose.. Just check everything. Not much it could be?

I had a knocking from the front on full lock it turned out to be the brake pipe rubbing on the rim  check the pipe, the outer casing has gone on mine and now needs replaced for the MOT  had to cable tie it.

It's probably the caliper like, hf

Hmmm after getting paranoid about it being my driveshaft splines wearing out....then spinning the car 180 degrees yesterday and ripping the front spoiler off  on some oil/ice I thought I'd realy best have a look at what was clunking/going on suspecting a snapped ball joint etc. Well, lifted the car off the ground and grabbed the front wheel and there was about 1cm - 1" of play laterally due to one of the ball joint bolts being completely loose!! Tightened it up and the clunking seems to have gone away. I wondered why it was handling a little perculiarly!!! Ha ha!

Cheers for the help guys...I checked everything else while I was there to make sure.
