Just failed my MOT !! Rear n/s not braking on handbrake. Was informed that could be seized caliper. Can I give this an overhaul myself, if so how? or is it easier to fit a new one?

Also suggested that I need new discs are these easy to fit?

This forum is great, helped me sort loads of problems ..... speedo. window mechanism, door, rear lights, glad I'm not the only one with these problems!

Rear calipers are £64.00 each with a years garantee P&P is about £10.00 insured royal mail delivery rear discs few different types with hub no hub ? Fr £17.00 each.

Try adjusting the handbrake adjusters that are within the caliper first before buying a new one.

Rear discs, as long as it isnt the ones with hubs, then its a doddle of a job.

The Haynes Manual gives pretty good step by step instructions if your a novice at doing brakes.
