Hi
I want to replace all the break pips on my 480 ES 1,7 from 1987.
Can anyone give me a guide or "how to do" for this task?
The old pips are leaking and needs to be replaced. I fear I need to dismantle the fuel tank... is there a another way?
I hope you can help me with this, I have never done it before!

Re: Replacing break pips
You dont have to dismantle fuel tank.
Its just a slow awkward job.

Re: Replacing break pips
Goodridge will make your pipes for about £50 in any colour you like , also get a gunson easy bleed kit for about £18 from halfords or elsewhere for less , this makes the job an absolute breeze and you can be confident that you have fully changed all the old (hydroscopic ) brake fluid , nobody ever seems to change their brake fluid on any car , (it's meant to be completely replaced every 2 years on any car) and then think they need to upgrade their brakes when in fact its contaminated old brake fluid that is making their brakes under perform

140mph for £175 just test the brakes
