Replacement rear brake

Post by MisterT » Fri Aug 03, 2007 11:21 am

My rear discs have to be replaced because they are worn out. The pads and calipers will also be replaced. When I asked what it would cost they said that it would depend on whether the brakes and the hub (I hope this is the right word, it's "naaf" in Dutch) can be replaced seperately or whether it's one piece. Does someboy know? I have a 1995 GT and I believe the current brakes are Volvo standard.

Hello!

My rear brakes are in bad condition. I dismantled the brakes, and it turned out that the discs are united with the hub and probably with the bearing.

Whether the wheel bearing is undergoing the destruction during disassembly?

Cheers :)
