Front discs on turbo 480

Post by kenthesweep » Fri Feb 16, 2007 4:54 pm

HELP!

I am a newbie turbo owner and have looked at the front discs. According to wisdom the fronts a ventilated, but on my 1990 turbo auto they are solid! They also look to have a 1" or so hub as paert of the disc.

WOULD VENTED DISCS BE A STRAIGHT SWOP?

The rear discs are solid and look the same as the fronts, also with a hub.

Any advice gratefully received!

Vented from 92onwards i think.

You need the calipers and i think brackets as well to upgrade, not just the disks.

you might also need bigger wheels, some of the smaller (pollux?) wheels on earlier cars wont clear vented calipers (i think)...
