Textar, Ferodo Premier of EBC BlackStuff?

Which brake pads to choose? I know that Groomy and Martin are using EBC and say they are fantastic. But I havn't got much money at the mo and have to choose beetwen quality and good price.
So which one do you suggest?
I like driving fast and braking late, now I have Spanish brake pads Raicam- bought them beacuse was short of money then. They brake quite ok but max 5 times. Then they need to cool down a little and as I said I need certain brakes.

Had Textar and theyre really good,Ferodo I think Dan 480Man had and said they were shit,EBC are in a different league to Textar.
EBC are really good mate.

So you mean it's worth starving for a couple of days to have good brakes?

Ummmmmm,well I'd eat shitty food for a couple of weeks for some EBC pads!

Hej,
I'm using Ferrodo GS 2500 GTS pads on my Tarrox disks and they work pretty good when heated.
Cold they suck big time.

Ah yes,this is another point which Vinciente has raised,EBC pads are excellent cold or hot I have found.
Simply garnish with brake cleaner and serve,preferably somewhere on the M1!

The Ferodo ones i used were rubbish-they didn't really work that well full stop (on my 440). And i found they wore down quite quickly too. I did drive fairly hard, but not too bad...did have my discs smoking a few times before i sold it, but even when hot they were a bit poo.
They were just standard replacements mind you, they wern't a special model/compound. I'll be uprating mine when they are due. Getting some uprated discs, but before any others i'm going to try the genuine Volvo pads. Chris1roll has/had them and i think he said they were quite good, even on uprated discs. Might be worth having a look at those first, and perhaps a slightly cheaper alternative?
I've been in several cars with Red Dot (Tarox) pads with uprated discs and they stop pretty damn well in regular heat and nutty driving, but i've also heard a good bit of feedback about 'Green Stuff' pads too, although never had personal experience.
Although any pads will be good enough for the car, it's worth saving the ££ and getting the better ones if your driving style is a bit quicker... Brake fade is rubbish and scary!
