rebuild problems , need help

how important is that oil pipe, which is welded onto the inside of the gear box cover,

Mines half hanging of on my old one, and the cover that came on my new box is completely stoved in.

i was going to weld it back on, but its so frecking cold out there , I cant get the gas to come out of the bottle

any one got a spare cover?

also, that pipe that go's over the top of the engine, from the vacuum booster? to the inlet manifold-ish area. i had a sligh accident with my 500W inspection lamp & melted it, now it looks like its got the pocks.
anyone got one of those kicking about?

Not sure, but it'd be easy to get one from a scrappy. Any similar looking renault gearbox?? Maybe?

Im sure almost all of the reno gearboxes are the same on the outside. Maybe picking one off a scrapped reno would be easier as there are a lot more of them in the breakers.
