Turbo gear PROBLEM--Help!!!

Post by sash » Fri Nov 04, 2005 5:55 pm

 Hi fellow gluttens, anyone know what's happening to my box?

When warm everything is hunky-do's
But when cold it won't change gear, it just stays in 1st gear for about 3-5 mins unless you sit there in gear for a couple of mins and let it warm up before you drive off.

Any help would be much apprciated.
Have already changed the oil to Gen, Volvo + added lubegard but no difference!

Make me :D again!!

super quick, super cheap, super MBC thanx cat!

Automatic i'm guessing.

Not good mate, If you have changed the atf and still no joy then it's the gearbox man next :cryhard:

I had mine lose 3rd/drive gear after ummm 220bhp and more then enought torque ate it. 'Oops'

sorry.

When atf heats up it gets thinner, you could try switching to a thinner oil than what your using now. but im afraid it will only be a temporary fix.
