Lost all the gears, ATF looks fine.

Both manual and automatic transmission are discussed here, including the clutch!

Phew!!!
Bet you are one smiling bunny!

The splines OK in the diff? What caused it to fall out? Had the CV gone on the driveshaft or was it just bad luck? And what was it that Vader was pissing all over your drive then?

When Greta spewed gearbox oil all over the M4 and then collapsed in a heap on the side of the road 20 miles later the nice RAC man thought that a thrown driveshaft was the cause of the problem - - - - in my case the diff had melted - - - - but a driveshaft falling out would have been a nicer solution to the problem of forward momentum! :)

Glad Vader's back - we were all praying to the various powers that be I'm sure!

seriously dude....you're lucky if the driveshaft has 'come out' at any speed and not done more damage!
