Manual to auto, auto to manual.

Both manual and automatic transmission are discussed here, including the clutch!

Manual to auto, auto to manual.

Post by doingitsideways » Fri Aug 07, 2015 10:48 pm

Long story short, I need to swap the gearboxes around on two of the fleet.

Automatic Turbo to receive a manual conversion.
Manual 2.0 to become an auto.

Anyone know if the gearboxes will fit each other?

(Yes, I know I'm insane!)

Hammers can't fix a 480!!!

Dunno about gearboxes fitting but I'm pretty certain you would need appropriate flywheels. There will almost certainly be a difference.
