Turbo, auto to manual conversion.

Both manual and automatic transmission are discussed here, including the clutch!

Turbo, auto to manual conversion.

Post by doingitsideways » Wed Apr 30, 2014 7:34 pm

Hi.

Having recently aquired an auto Turbo, and will soon be breaking my manual Celebration... You can probably guess where this is going! ;)

I'm pretty sure the 2.0's 'box will physically bolt up to the Turbo's block, as they're essentially the same, but...:

Going off previous manual conversions, I'll need the flywheel from the 2.0 to bolt the clutch to, so I was wandering if anyone knows if the bolt pattern is the same, also if the trigger count is the same as the 2.0 runs different management to the Turbo?

Looking forward to showing the local scallies who's the boss (either that, or break the gearbox) as the auto 'box holds Turbos back, even with a Robou! :(

Thanks,

Steve :hopping:

Flywheel and clutch are, I think, different sizes on the different engines. Don't know much else, and am sorry if thats insulting your intelligence!
