Volvomax ? ? ?

Post by sallysal » Tue Sep 22, 2009 10:44 am

It's been a wee while since I was last on the forum.................it used to be all fields round 'ere......

Been having a problem with my clutch - stiff pedal, and it's starting to slip now.

Been trying to get in touch with Volvomax in Glasgow for last 2 weeks - no-one answering the phone - does anyone know if they're still in business? :dunno:

Getting pretty high quotes elsewhere. If Volvomax are no more then it looks like we might be doing it ourselves - ..........

anyone foresee any problems ? or anything I should know that ain't mentioned in the Haynes 'manuel'?

Yes Sallysal the Max is definitely in business.
It has 2 phone numbers one is defunct but if you do a web search thats the one you get

the number you need is 0141 774 5238

its is very very very busy best time to catch hold of Dougie is about 8.30 to 9.00 am if he is not in get them to phone you. Otherwise you will never get hold of them.

regards jim

thanks for that!

I have two numbers - one keeps ringing and no-one answers - I presume the defunct one, and the other is ALWAYS engaged, thanks for the hint about best time of day to phone.

We've decided to just do it ourselves - I'm running out of free days before I get really busy and I need it done asap....
.....wish us luck........

an afternoon should be enough time to do it, yeah?
