draining/changing gearbox fluid on a JC-3

Post by shimon340 » Fri Aug 29, 2008 1:59 pm

Hi

easy question for anyone who has done this before or who has a parts manual!!

Does anyone know if the drain and fill plugs on the manual JC-3 have crushable washers?

i'm looking to drain the gearbox fluid but would like to get the washers in advance before draining fluid

thanks

Shimon

I have just done mine and cant remember washers-but to be fair my oil came out through a dodgy drive shaft seal...hmmm reminds me, must order a new one...!
