Hey guys, I have a hole in my Inner cv boot (gearbox side)
I have bought the boot kit but there is gearbox oil coming out of the CV boot. (and going everywhere!!) I take it this isnt normal as its usually just grease inside....
Has anyone had this before?
Is there some sort of bearingy type thing that needs to be replaced as well?
I couldnt find a exploded diagram anywhere so am not sure what I need to purchase before changing it.
Any help would be much appreciated!
Cheers, Chris

On the 480 (and masses of other cars) the gearbox oil is retained by the n/s CV boot.
You get a hole in it...you dump all your gearbox oil. Wonderful huh?
