Yet another driveshaft question

Both manual and automatic transmission are discussed here, including the clutch!

Right? Offside?

ummmnnnn on a manual... this would be the process... dunno about a
slushbox?

Driveshafts-

Drivers side (rhd car)

Remove roadwheel
Remove caliper (suspend securely)
Remove trackrod end
Drive out split pin holding driveshaft to gearbox output shaft
Remove 2 bolts holding shock to hub carrier
Remove 2 bolts retaining lower wishbone to chassis
Remove hub assembly with driveshaft

Passengers side (rhd car)

Remove roadwheel
Remove caliper (suspend securely)
Remove trackrod end
Remove Plastic splash guard from inner arch
Remove 3 bolts holding driveshaft to geatbox
(place suitable tray beneath to catch gearbox fluid!)
Remove 2 bolts holding shock to hub carrier
Remove 2 bolts retaining lower wishbone to chassis
Remove hub assembly with driveshaft

Have a good breaker bar and a scaff pole handy to remove some of the
nuts and bolts... If you are doing passenger side you will obv. have to
refill yr gearbox fluids.

I just checked the HBOL... Thats all correct for a manual...

Unfortunately the driveshafts on an auto are very different...

I guess other than sepreating them from the box the process
is going to be similar tho...

Good luck!
