My right CV-joint is on its way out
Can I replace the driveshaft + joint from any donor 480?
Or does the N/A differs from a turbo and/or model/year?

Only difference is between ABS/Non ABS and Auto/manual.
If you have an ABS car, you must get a driveshaft from a similarly equiped car as they have the teeth on that the ABS computer reads.
If you have a Non ABS car, you can use either type.
Manuals and automatics are different too, you must get one from the same type of box...
BTW, You may also find that some on the drivers side (IIRC) are either a thinner solid bar, or a larger hollow one. either will do the job fine

Thanks for the info Chris!
Additional question: does the car series matter, 440, 460, 480?
Because I can get hold of complete shafts from a '97 460
These are the thick ones and must be the hollow ones I presume
