How much??

The clutch went in my Celeb this morning. I need it running asap so am going to go to a garage to get it replaced but would like to have some idea of the process and thus costs

From reading other topics, chaanging a cluctch seems to be a straightforward thing to do. Is thsi true? How long should it take a garage?

Does anyone know anywhere near Bracknell, Berks that they would recommend to do the work?

a clutch from eurocarparts is about Â£100. plus whatever they want to charge you to fit it.

Thanks very much for your message. I have had it done at Mr Clutch at a cost of Â£269 fitted. It turned out that the gearbox mounting had gone as well - a new ones costs a mere Â£129 from Volvo!

Still I'm looking forward to getting it back - I've been going round in a ford fiesta for a week now!

I have the facility to make gearbox mountings...saddly i'm kinda stuck without an old one to remould (hint hint brasco), and theres already a bit of a queue.
