Which gearbox?

Hi.
I hope someone can help. I have a UK G-reg 1989 Volvo 480 Turbo. The gearbox has recently gone in a bad way.
Now, i beleive there are two different variants of the gearbox? Is this correct? What do i need to be looking for to made sure a second hand box fits??

you can find the gearbox type by looking for the little aluminium tag bolted onto the top of your gearbox.
