Just got to 115k and made me think whether I was running on borrowed time with the old auto gearbox. Who has done the highest milage with an auto gearbox I wonder? Would be interesting to know.
Probably be writing in soon to say my gearbox is dead because of this post, but hey worth the risk!!

Hi Paul!
For longevitys sake I changed mine every 10k OR whenever the fluid had become any colour other than red.
You could help it to run with less friction,so less heat,by using the fabulous Lubegard Transmission Additive. It makes the changes noticeably smoother as well.It will also make the ATF itself last far longer. Its only $9 for 1 US quart bottle.
Oregon Performance Transmissions have it on ebay.com (US site).Brian Carr there will take care of you.Takes 2-3 days max to get to you on cleared payment.
