Air Temp Sensor

Post by MatBat » Fri Jan 02, 2004 4:32 pm

My car is running a bit rough so I did a Seld diagnosis and got 1 Fault code:

1-2-2 -- Temperature sensor of air

Does anyone know where this is?

I don't think it's the one behind the grill.

Apparently it's not working.

perseverence.
maybe, a tiny bit of grease on the hole. might help seal it up better too?

hmm, know what you talk bout. put it in at one side first (vaseline, better pure soap will help. keep on pushing it hard the way it went in (the hole gets a bit oval) then tilt and push the rest in. its a bit a pig but it will work.
luck,
