eletric window trick....?
hi people i was wondering if anybody had discovered the window trick.
on the drivers side button very quicky click it down twice and the window will go down all the way by itself,
is this a well known fact or some obscure thing i found out????
i have found some though not many this won't work on.

I only found that out when the Groomiester took my car out for a spin at the N.Wales meet and did it, shame they don't close the same too huh?
You might also want to try when locking your car with the key, keeping it in the lock position for a few seconds and the car automatically closes any open windows/sunroof aswell as the c.locking. Total Closure.
Didn't know that til I saw it somewhere on the forum either!
Still never been able to get my rearwindscreen wiper to automatically stop in the right place though!
Stu.

The longe range light trick me-thinks. Pull the flasher stalk with the engine off and keys out of ignition and the longe range lights come on for 30 seconds to "light the way to your door"! Brilliant for trying to convince younger nephews and cousins that the car is alive...

100-mile trick? curious - am I being naive and missing something?
I'm gutted that Greta is missing some of the tricks the earlier ones came with - the flat-out-wiper trick would be soo cooool. Didn't early 480s come with a light in the engine bay aswell so you didn't have to find a torch when you hear a worrying noise from the engine at night...
These - lets face it - are the reasons we love these cars - am I right?
As for the "toll-booth" function - it's only wired up for the drivers-side window... then Volvo went to the bother of fitting an extra grounded output from the CEM to select between LHD and RHD cars... nuts!
