Hi!
If you have a 480 up til 91, you have a switchbraker in the drivers door. You shoud be able to hear the contacts working when locking/unlocking the door. This unit sends a signal to the pass doormotor. The switch has a timer function and operates for a second.
Its not unusual you have a cabel break in the door/chassie opening.

yes, bit he's getting a voltage reading at the wires at the pass side motor when he locks/unlocks the drivers door. did you try the motor with the wires connected but with the linkage disconnected??
maybe the linkage is bindige with the way you fitted it and stops the motor working??
