Mysterious plug

From CEM to VEM, from LED to lightbulb and more. If you have an electrical problem, like a broken info-centre, search for answers in this category. This is also the place to be when you expect the problem to be of an electrical nature...

The dead bulb light isnt all that helpful. You might find its one of the day running lights. They have 2 filaments and use different ones depending on weather the main lights are on or not. Maybe you didnt notice that. Think they're bosch 566's. Multiplug at the front is probably for air con if u havent got it. There's lots of posts on re-soldering info centres around here somewhere.

Good Luck

Hi!

About the dead bulb warning light.

If all bulbs are ok and they light with the same power, there is a common problem. The buld indicator relay. This is located in the boot, rear left.

Because of water leeaking in to the boot, the electric components in this relay often stop to work.

Disconnect the relay and see if the problem remaines.
