Hi everyone,
So I’ve managed to source an auxiliary gauge for my car however the gauge has 6pins, but I’m pretty sure the connector on my car has 4pins. I’ve read some old forum posts about how some cars have 6pins and some have 4. However none of them gave me a definitive answer. Will the gauge still work when I plug it in?
(I would try and plug it in anyway, but I haven’t bought the gauge yet.)
Thanks

Re: Aux gauge connectors
Hi William, yes, every set of 3 gauges I have seen has 6 pins but every 480 has a 4 pin plug. You connect to the 4 pins nearest the driver (plug will only go one way up).
