AC problem

Post by teschio79 » Sat Mar 06, 2021 12:22 pm

Hi everybody , my 95 turbo have a issue with air con compressor ; sometime the sistem work good, and sometime , After i engage the button , listen a little click from relay but the compressor and the blower don’t start. So i have to switch off and switch on a lot of time and the compressor and blower restart. What can i check ?

I’d say it’s out of gas. When was the last time it worked?

If it’s r134a you can it gassed pretty much anywhere. If it’s r12, your screwed.

Maybe it is right on the edge of the pressure limits for engage and disengage?

AC needs to be used regularly. The gas also continues an oil that lubricates all the seals within the system. If they don't get lubricated, they can dry up and contract, allowing the gas to escape.
