Volvo 480 Club Europe

Hi all, my celeb has been in hibernation since Oct. I start and run it at least once a week to keep everything ticking over. On the last two occasions I have noticed a rattle from the cooling fan when it kicks in and stops. The rattle is much worse when switching off, I am guessing bearings? Are the fans generic or am I looking at second hand. The car is a 95 2ltr, any thoughts?

I think they’re generic across the range; is the fan bolted securely to the frame?
