Does anyone know what the horn connectors should look like? I've started to get my 2.0 back on the road. When the last theft attempt was made they obviously disabled the alarm by yanking out one of the connectors.
This is what I've got (kind of L shaped assuming the picture link doesn't work) and it doesn't want to go back in and locate so I'm inclined to think it's been straightened out.
What shape should it be before I start with the pliers or start taking the whole thing apart?

Re: Horn connectors
Photo isn't showing, but I'd presume its just a simple spade connector?

Re: Horn connectors
I followed the link to the Google drive, I think what Jeff said is right, just a spade connector.

Re: Horn connectors
Hmm, that would make sense but it's not looking like any spade connector I've seen before. I'll have another go at reseating it but I think I'll probably have to bite the bullet and take it it all apart so I can actually see what I'm doing
Re: Horn connectors
mine WERE spade , normal size, but with rubber covers,
but I removed the whole unit so i could see why not working, when removed , worked OK on the bench.
just a difficulty in removal of the remains of the sprung mount broken off my me to get the horns off, replaced with a thin section of SS 'tag plate' (fell heir to about thirty 3" x 4" 0.8mm plates, as wrong details had been stamped )

Re: Horn connectors
Looks like it's all coming off then. There's a hell of a lot of corrosion on the loose connector despite the rubber covers. It'll be the only way to test everything and see what's going on with connectors.
Couldn't make an intermittent connection work whilst my Dad pressed the horn so gonna be easier to troubleshoot off the car.
Yes, the fuse is good before anyone asks!
