Info Center was working

Info Center was working

Post by Dancing Demon » Mon Mar 30, 2015 6:11 pm

Somehow I suspect I am missing something blindingly obvious.

Took the instruments out 4 weeks ago to replace mileometer cog - sourced from Joep.

All gone back together - everything works - info centre is now dead.

Probably totally incorrect but something at the back of my mind says the info centre does not like not having power for a long period of time...........

Hi,
There is no issue with the info center being disconnected for long periods of time. the only thing that happens is that you loose your avg consumption speed etc.

What did you disassembled? did you remove the infocenter board(the one that has the strap that connects to the "info center" switches) from main PCB? Re-check if the pins were reconnected correctly.

cheers
