No interior Light

Hi ALL. I recently changed by myself the locking system in the doors. i bought two new mechanisms, but when i changed them, i probably cut the wires that connect to the interior lighting. so when i open the drivers door the light doesnt come up but when when i open the passenger door the interior lighting works. Pleasetell me what should i connect and maybe what cables are responsible for interior lighting. Thanks!

gonna piggyback on this thread if that is ok and ask if anyone could tell me if the 480 and 460 light circuitry are similar, also if they know what controls the 20 second light dimmer?

evo, my thoughts are that you have disturbed the wires, the copper goes brittle after a while, so you will probably need to replace the wiring. if you touch the two wires together the light should come on? if that happens, then the switch is more likely to blame
