2 questions.
1.--- on manual car is sensor always in same position be it 1.7,2.0,n/a or turdo.
2.--- will a 2.0l 1993 work on my 1.7 1991.

ive found two dirrerent part numbers in the pdf. will the wrong one have the genie come out of my console with a puff of magic smoke.

Until the end of 1992 de reference number of the speedo sensor is 3413744. Since 1993 the ref. is 3467846. But not sure if they are exchangable...

what should the resistance be. if its high enough shouldnt do any damage. there are three car near me being broken but all 2.0 m reg which is what 93/94. anyone have a 1991 sensor id be much obliged.

tested it and its open circuit, so now have to hunt down a replacement. thats assuming i can get it off, cant get any leverage on the allen key between exhaust and drive shaft.
