new alternator fitted

fitted a new alternator yet battery still ran flat ANY IDEAS GUYS?

change the battery also :)

You alternator is clearly not charging the battery...

Does your charge-light in the instrument panel come on before starting and extinguish as it should with the engine running?
Is the (thick red) wire between alternator and battery properly connected (resistance lower than 0,1 Ohms)?
Is the earth-connection of both battery and alternator OK?
