IC inst. consumption

My IC in ES 88' with B18EP shows inst. consumption only when I drive reverse 
When I drive forward its shows all time 0 l/100km
Average speed and distance and current speed are calculated correctly. Consuption signal is passed a single cable and it's ok. I corrected all the soldering on the board of instruments and IC but but it still doesn't work propelly. Maybe it has to do with the setting of the CO potentiometer
