Harhar,

lot of work for you then :hopping:

It´s possible! But a lot of work. First of al you need an electronic speedo signal from the gearbox! Yours is mechanical.

So you have to replace those two parts, or just buy another gearbox, with E-signal. Of course you need the wiring,, a new speedo + BC-switch,and the sensors, which information the BC needs.

Buy yourself another 480 :hopping: , and replace al the parts !

Regards.

Dan

Hi,

it´s not so difficult, but you need the parts for it.

Maybee you´ll find a cheap 480 automatic with BC, from 92.

Be happy, your TT has the original A/C, the first i´ve ever seen! ;)

I worked at "volvo Born" (now nedcar) but I am not that use full i just did some spotwelding as a school kid :) any how. this is when I got addicted to it. just had to wait patintly like a reinard for my time to come.... (to be able to afford one :) )

but i have some experience with my own... you can try first tofind a dashboard with the right colours. I mean you have to find a clock with the same connector colour as the wiring you have. I have a hunch the wirings of all 480's of a sertain age are the same.

daniel is correct: check if the sensor at the gear box is the one you need..

if you don't succeed no problem: you ony have to make some extra wires... But start with the easy option first.

on the site of our member "dragon" (hosted webspace)is all the info you need, like exploded vieuws (how parts go together, with the partnumbers) and also some electrical diagramms.
luck,
JPF
