who know??

From CEM to VEM, from LED to lightbulb and more. If you have an electrical problem, like a broken info-centre, search for answers in this category. This is also the place to be when you expect the problem to be of an electrical nature...

In my ES ('86) rear foglights works with each position of light switch. Even when the switch is off. Front foglights - I can use them with the position lights, master and long range.
Foglights in Turbo doesn't work from the time when I bought this car, so i don't know what is the sequence of shining

yes, drls work exactly the other way. you can have long + drls or short + fog or short only or long only. 90 turbo continental.

DRL means Day Running Lights, those are burning as soon as you turn the key. The drl's may not be working with yours, the fogs and drl's are not working the sameway in every country. Depends on the regulations of the country in which it was sold.

Both of my car haven't DRL. One is from France, second from Germany. But car from UK or Sweden usually have this stuff. DRL is in the same section as position lights. Bulb have two fibers inside and can burning brightly or less brightly.

You mean Pop-up? If so, foglights can work with the headlight.

ouh sorry, i ment long range spot lights. DRLs are only in UK, as i know - double bulb with parking + DRLs. only parking light in central EU, lighting only when switceh on with any combination of lights.
Long range spot lights have the vice-versa function from fog lights. long+spot or short+fog or long only or short only.
combination auto light power, rear fog light both/left only, brake light, DRLs.. depends on local regulation and year of production. offcourse, cars don't allways originate from the country the currently are and can lead to cunfussion. in 480 case, lights are like a box of chocolate, you never know.. :)
