getting codes from a 440

As per my other thread, I'm having murders getting this car to start, my mechanic has asked if there is anyway of getting codes out of this for fault finding.

Ie diagnostic socket?

do you have the little black box on the suspension turret is where it is on 480. dont know weather 440 have them.there is a wire to plug in under the lid and a led with flash codes.its on the forum somewhere. search flash codes.

all we have is an engine and engine harness, we are using it in a gtt, so probably not :(

you could probably just use the wires, all there is in the diag box is a push button and a led.
