Pop Up Help !
My pop ups were working fine,i then wired in a stereo and ...bingo now the pop ups won't operate.
I've checked the fuse (Ok)
I've swapped over the relay with one i know works (Ok)
Now i'm lost for ideas
I can't think why the stereo would effect the lights !!
Any help much appreciated

I've just swapped over the rotary light switch, thats fine also
I have noticed that when i put the key in the ignition and turn it i hear a distinct spark noise.Once the key is in it stops ?
I've checked every single fuse also and there all ok.
I've tried to pop up the lights whilst the bonnet is up by pressing the bonnet release catch in manually......nothing
The headlights are on but still won't pop up ?
Its driving me insane

It could be pure coincedence, it will be long winded but your best bet is to trace out all the pop up wiring chances are there is either a feed gone or a connector loose.

Funny thing is ,my info centre now also works 480s...........who'd ave em ?
Thanks for all the tips and suggestions.

where is the pop up switch wires for yours? ive had the same problem. im thinking its my bonnet switch for my lights, but i can only see the switch itself, not any wiring. one day they worked, next day they both stopped.
as far as i can see, all the relays and fuses are ok.

I don't honestly know, the guy at my garage sorted it out for me.He did say that the switch was difficult to get at and there wasn't much room to operate.milos480turby wrote:where is the pop up switch wires for yours? ive had the same problem. im thinking its my bonnet switch for my lights, but i can only see the switch itself, not any wiring. one day they worked, next day they both stopped.

please tell me you live near to southampton and your garage is also close to me >.<
the switch itself and the back of it is easy enough to get to as it pops out if u stick a screwdriver between it and the roof lining, its just whats on the other end of the wires and where that exactly is
