Fuse blowing

Post by FLYINGDORK » Wed Apr 11, 2007 10:05 am

Hi all

I'm suffering with the fuse blowing on the heating fan ( 25amp )....
This happens as soon as the ignition is turned......
I've disconnected the wires to the heating blower motor and also the speed selector switch....but it continues to happen.....?

Anyone have any ideas......?
This is driving me nuts....

Cheers Richard

Bad connection/earth or wiring would be my guess Richard. Might be worth a look in the Haynes Book of Lies to see what else it's connected to, and also just checking the fuse holder connections also for starters.

Not sure what to do with that steering wheel in your crotch mind

Good luck with it!

Stu.

Hi all

Got it sorted.....
previous owner had wired a phone charger direct to the fuse holder for the fan...his had shorted due to very dodgy wiring.....

Just my speedo to do now.......
