Where are the horns located?

Post by fruktstav » Mon May 13, 2024 3:56 pm

After my alarm went off my horn(s) seem to have died. I hear a relay clicking when pushing the horn button, which I have also tested are confirmed is working, but there is no horn sound at all.

So I'm thinking I'll just replace the horn itself and try if that works. But I can't seem to locate them. Anyone knows where they are/how to get to them?

Cheers! :hopping:

At the back of the front bumper in the middle. Under tray is in the way!

There are two. Frequency is mentioned in the parts catalogue. Try do get the right ones. I didn't so my car is a joke to other 480s with their loud deep horns!

Thanks! "Luckily" my under tray started drooping down so I removed it. I did look under there today but didn't see it. I guess I'll go for attempt two tomorrow! I guess you go from the underside to access it then?

Maybe your alarm went off because someone was trying to get into your car, or at your catalytic converter (if it has one) and they ripped the horns off to stop it making a noise? 😂😂😂
