Rear foglights

Post by Suovas » Sat Oct 23, 2021 7:18 am

So with my current project a 480es ive gotten quite far but still some issues remain till i can start using it. For examble my rear foglights doesnt seem to work. Not even the indicator on the dash appears whats could it depend on?
Furthermore my rear wiper doesnt work either and not clue what causes that.
Any help with these 2 issues would be greatly appreciated.

Marek is correct about the wires, etc. but I thought I’d also post that on my old E-reg car the fog light switch failed.

It arrived to me with extra wires to make them run in parallel with the front ones. After some messing about and some guess work, I slotted in a new switch pack and reconnected up the original wiring and the rears worked as originally intended again!

Oh, and remember only early cars have x2 fog lights, later cars have a blank on one side.

The rear wiper issue is possibly damage/corrosion to the wiring loom between the body and tailgate glass.
