Hi
Do anyone of you guys know what this is? I am clueless, mine is broken (wireing) and i want to know what it is before I spend money on changing it.
It placed in my 1,7 ES car from 1987... It was not used on my other 1,7 ES car from 1988
can anyone help me here?

Yes, it could affect the idle. But don't mess with this potentiometer without reason. Go to the service station or any workshop and ask for an analysis of the exhaust gas.
This test can determine whether the settings of potentiometer are correct.

It did not work when i drove to MOT, and they tested the exhaust gas values. the car passed.
the thing has always been broken... But I really don't know if it will change the crazy idle am experiencing.
I cant use it any more do to its bad condition.
