Well, in the ever continuing attempt to make all the electrics in the car work, I was wondering if the Long Range Lights switch should be illuminated when they are engeged?
The switches for the seat heating have the same 'white' round in it, they do lit up when they are in use, the switch for the LRL doesn't...

Long range light switch
There's no lamp in the switch to light up. The "same" white dot is just paint. That switch assembly has three lamps - two are in the heated seat switches (they are buried inside the switches). The third one is mounted in the middle and shines through a clear plastic 'light guide'. It is the night backlight.

Re: Illuminated switch?
Actually... it is possible to make the switch illuminate when it is pushed.
I made it in a way that the small green led pokes out just slightly, but it is also possible to put the led completely inside. The problem is the white round covers of the heated seat buttons don't fit. Otherwise, they would look all the same.
This little project is my own creation, I decide do add a switch for the cigar-lighter socket as I use it often and didn't want to have to disconnect the plug everytime.
