Door Key Lights

Post by Jimmy » Wed May 21, 2008 10:54 am

Am I right in thinking that the drivers door keyhole should light up if I lift the door handle when the car is locked?

If I am right, then this feature doesn't work on my car and I guess I have one of the following:

- Blown Bulb
- Dodgy switch
- Fuse? (I would have thought other stuff wouldn't work too though)
- Anything else?

Anyone had a similar problem and got any suggestions before I try and locate the problem?

Cheers

Jimmy

It should light up when you pull the handle, it only lights up on the driver's side lock i think, i'd take the door card out, pop the lock cover off and get the lock mechanism out. Its not a hard job to do and see if the bulb is bust or sumthin? But check the standerd fuses etc first!

Hope this helps
