Evening Boys + Girls!
Now the gremlins of my 480ies Engine Management have gotten after me...
Sometimes when I come to a halt in front of traffic lights the engine cuts out just as soon as I shift into neutral. Is there another sensor somwhere which is going to die?
The notorious idle valve has been cleaned 8 weeks ago, spark plugs and airfilter are new. The idle is silky smooth now, normally, but at times the engine abruptly cuts out as stated above.
Anyone has experienced the same? Any ideas or a solution ??
Thank You !
Best Regards

is there a change in starting hot or cold ?
if you load the engine (lights, power consumers, maybe bit clutch) does the steppermotor (idler valve) adjust the rpm, i mean does it work ?
what about the engine as you "choke" the hose tight with a plier ?
I cleaned the iv the second time in two years last week, and it did not work. there was one drag contact bent.
I have still trouble, see my thread about it.
