Had my car serviced today, but after renewing the thermostat, my gauge for the water-temperature still comes up 1/3. The one for fuel is fine by the way.
Does anyone know the other options? --> Perhaps the sensor, but where is it mounted, and what will it cost?
My 480 is an S my '93
Thanks to you all!

Could it not be that the reading was higher before as result of a fauklty thermostat.
And was the right type used for replacing the old one?
And remember the gauges inly give an indication.

My 440 ran at 1/3rd, I thought there was something wrong till I saw others and they are all the same! If it gets real hot it will go up to half, but will go down again when the fan cuts in, so don't worry!!
