automatic choke

Hi all,

When cold my 1988 ES doesn't run idle. When the engine warms up to some 50 degrees Celsius it runs idle at some 500-600 revs. When it gets warm the idle is fine.

Is there some automatic choke module I can check?
Or any other ideas?

No you cannot check a module.
But test the temperature-sensor for the motormanagement. :eek:
And check the idlevalve (stappenmotor) :angry:
